About ChowChow Labs
Brain and Senses is a collection of ten short, interactive challenges from ChowChow Labs. They are built to be fun, quick and honest about what they can and cannot tell you.
Brain and Senses is developed by ChowChow Labs, an independent app studio based in Toronto, Canada.
What we make
Each challenge comes from documented rules and original artwork: shapes, positions, timing and simple scenes. A demo shows you how to respond, an unscored practice round warms you up, and your basic result is always free.
Who makes and reviews the challenges
The ChowChow Labs team writes every item, scoring rule and explanation on this site. The puzzles, scenes, colours and tones are original and generated from documented rules; no item is copied from a published test. Before a new set of items goes live, automated checks confirm that each item has exactly one correct answer and follows its level’s rules.
No doctor, psychologist, optometrist or audiologist reviews these challenges, because they are not health or psychological assessments and do not give medical results.
Editorial standards and corrections
- Scores are raw counts or browser timings with their limits stated. We do not publish IQ numbers, percentiles or norms we have not measured.
- Each test page shows when its content was last reviewed. Item sets and scoring rules are versioned, and changes are listed on the methodology page.
- If you find an error, an item with two right answers or an unclear explanation, tell us. We fix confirmed problems and note them in the changelog.
What we do not do
- We do not diagnose, screen for or treat any condition.
- We do not give out IQ numbers, professional certificates or hearing and vision prescriptions.
- We do not sell your answers or send them to advertisers.
